The Carolinas' Fleet Winter Planning Meeting has been re-scheduled to March 6th. This is our annual planning event where we will not only plan out our sailing events for the 2010 year, but we will also take care of a little business. Elections for Fleet Captain and Secretary are on the agenda along with some social time for reviewing the past year.
If you are thinking of becoming part of the CDSOA Carolinas' Fleet, or just have an interest in what are about, please feel free to join us. While we are a small fleet, we work hard to have an event every month. These events span day (and multiple day) trips, pot luck dinners, and other reasons to gather and share our love of sailing.
Not a Cape Dory Owner? That's no reason not to check us out. We have several Associate Members who sail with our fleet--our common goal is to share our experiences and knowledge from sailing the waters in/around Oriental, NC.
The planning meeting and lunch will start at 12-noon on March 6, 2010, at Captain Ratty's Restaurant in New Bern, NC.
