Poorhouse Cove Clam-Bake

Post by Carl Thunberg »

Neil,

Great idea, with the suggestion box! I've been thinking about having another clam-bake at our camp in South Bristol, Maine. We had one in 2007 during the Maine Cruise. This would not be in connection with the Maine Cruise, and we'd have to schedule it around the other events in Maine. I'm thinking some time in late July. This is one you can come by boat or by car, if there's fog. Any interest out there???

Don't let the light response fool you... there have been a host of good ideas that landed in my PM box.

By the way, the Northeast Fleet will need to give Dick K. some sort of Roving Ambassador title for the number of CDSOA members, and Cape Dory owners in general, he's going to meet on his trip to New York. I think he'll single handedly (no pun intended) be responsible for most of this season's raftups.

Carl,

depending on the weekend, I'm sure our family will come. Probably by car though -- the 150mi by sea seems a bit adventurous for now.

Clam bake

This sounds like great idea especially for the land locked folks on Winnipesaukee. Sundays are best for me.
