Replacing Seacocks on CD27

Post by jneely »

It has come time to replace some of the seacocks on our CD27 Troika. Specifically the ones for the cockpit scuppers and the sink drain. I believe the ones we have now are the thirty year old originals and they are beginning to leak a bit due to pitting. Are there any seacocks available now that will fit the present thru hull and also line up with the through bolts?

Have you tried lapping compound to extend their life a few more years?

Assuming you have the Spartan seacocks, they are still available.

On my prior boat, a CD27, the scupper seacocks were Spartan, but the head seacock was Wilcox-Crittenden.
