Ariel Canvas & Sails

Post by grabhamb »

Just a quick note to anyone considering new canvas for their Cape Dory. David Vandenburgh is a fellow CD'er and makes sails and canvas for all boats. I recently needed new sail covers for my CD36 and David's price was about half of what local lofts wanted. Not only was the price right but David's workmanship was superb. The new covers had features that local lofts hadn't even thought of yet. I highly recommend Ariel Canvas & Sails for anyone needing new boat canvas.

I bought a jib bag and it was also top-notch craftsmanship.

Boom Tent

Post by barfwinkle »

David made a boom tent for me. Excellent workmanship and material. Here is a pic of sorts. I did the foredeck cover, no comparison in workmanship (I am a tadpole sewer)! It makes all the difference in the world when it's hot outside.
