One of the biggest frustrations I've had with my CD27 is finding an on-line Yanmar parts dealer that can ship to Washington state. Does anyone know of a website where I can purchase parts and have them shipped to my home?
When it comes time to replace the YSM, I won't even consider Yanmar because of their insane territory restrictions.
Where can I order Yanmar parts?

Take a look
A quick google lists many companies that have parts for Yanmar, and the ysb series engines. I can't recommend one over another, but most parts should be available. Also try Yanmar tractor parts.

Good Morning Bob
I am very displeased with Yanmar's decision to break the US up into districts. Prior to that I always used Torrensen Marine (Diesel Direct) and I think they are in Wisconsin or Illinois or somewhere in that area.
Now I MUST use a company called LaBorde (sp) Industries in Louisiana. Go to http://www.yanmar.com/locator/ then click on Marine (at the bottom of the list) and they will provide you with your regions distributor. I know this sucks, but what can we do. I have tried and tried to get Torrensen to ship to me and they WILL NOT for fear of loosing their franchise. You can't blame them.

Thanks Bill. I did spend some time trying to find an on-line dealer using Yanmar's locator, but never found one after looking at dealers all along the west coast. By searching on a common Yanmar part number I did find a site that you might be able to use http://www.bluewatershipsstore.com/default.aspx. I don't know anything about them.barfwinkle wrote:Good Morning Bob

Hi Bob,
You've probably tried this arleady, but go to:
http://www.yanmarmarine.com/
Once there click on the 'Distributors & Dealers' link which is located in the navigation bar at the top of the page. It's the last selection on the right. On the resulting page, select 'North America' from the "Select region" dropdown menu, then select 'Washington' from the "Country" dropdown (yeah, I know, Washington is not a country). Then click on either 'Show distributors and dealers' or 'Print'. The resulting list provides not only the names, addresses and phone numbers of the dealers and distributors but their web sites and email addresses as well.
Bill,
You might also try this Yanmar dealer in OK:
Diesel Propulsion Services

Bixby, OK 74008
Phone & Fax: 918-970-6102
Cell 918-361-3860

They are a dealer, LaBorde is a distributor. Anyway, they may be a bit closer to you.

Just an FYI: The Yanmar Marine site is IE-centric only... it does not play well with Firefox...
