We're looking for suggestions for continuing our trip after the Onset meet. One plan says we go from Onset to Vinyard Haven, then to Red Brook Harbor, then on to Provincetown, then back to Boston. There's also a version that goes from Onset to Cuttyhunk, then to Vinyard Haven.
Comments, local knowledge, etc., etc., would be appreciated. Our preference is to generally sail half a day, but it's not a hard and fast rule. <s>

I would suggest that you consider the current near the canal even as far west as Onset and be very careful of the current in Woodshole if heading to the Vineyard. Understand the markers of Woodshole before you pass through. There isn't time to wonder which 'road' to take once you are there. Also, the sun can be shining on one side of the hole and directly at the other end it can be 'pea soup'.
