plug-in
Hello,
I have a 1/2 inch diameter, two prong female plug-in receiver about 2 inches from the right of the engine instrument panel on our cd22d (1982). It has a rubber cap to keep out the water when not in use that has the word Guest on it. Does anyone know what this is used for and if its original?
Thanks, Joe

Electrical Plug
Joe,
I don't know what the plug is for. My guess is that it is for an early version of a hand held spotlight.

It may be something called a Dri-Plug. Grendel (my 25D) has one for the tiller-pilot - an ancient autohelm 1000 that came with the boat and still works.
