Hanalei vs Dana

Post by Richard Feffer »

Dave,
I saw one of your posts in which you said you were a former Pacific Seacraft Dana owner. I also had a 1987 Dana which I sold about two years ago. I'm currently in the process of buying a CD30MKII (survey and sea trial next week.) I would like to hear your comments comparing the two.

I also think you said you were in Ct. I wonder where? I'm in Stamford. "Sea Scape" is in the lower Chesapeake, so if I do buy it, we won't be back here until late June.

Thanks for your reply, Richard

Richard,
No, sorry, Hanalei is my only vessel other than an Old Bettle Cat I owned a few years ago. You must have me confused with someone else.

Hanalei is docked at the Noank Shipyard Marina, in Noank, CT on the Mystic River. If you are ever in the area, stop by and say hello. I do think that you can't do better than a Cape Dory. Good luck with your sea trial...
