Typhoon Outboard Motor Bracket

Post by Mike Johnson »

I'm buying a 1978 Typhoon weekender. The boat has a nice piece of bronze hardware mounted at the stern that is for an outboard motor. I've seen another weekender with the nice bronze motor mount attached to this fitting. The current (and original) owner is not aware of ever having the mount.

Can someone tell me if there is a place that you can get the bronze motor mount to fit the existing bronze bracket?

Try Spartan Marine. you can get their address on this webpage by clicking on to "where to look". They show one in their catalog for about $280. Good luck. Bill
