I'm in the process of purchasing a CD 25, and would like to uncover the hull/deck joint to see about the feasibility of installing thru-bolts. Does anyone know of a "non-destructive" way of doing this?
And, even once it's exposed, is installing thru bolts possible without major "surgery" on the inner liner?
Thanks!

Steve:
You can see the bolts from the bottom if you crawl into the cockpit locker (better yet get your teenaged daughter to crawl in for you (that's what they're for you know)). You can also see some by looking through the access holes in the liner. You can feel behind the liner from the cabin. If you want to add more I think (but have never done it) you can get to them by removing the toe rail.
Where you taking this boat anyway?
