I will be using auxillary power for extended periods on the ICW. Presently my CD22 is powered by an 5Hp longshaft and seems to move the vessel quite nicely in waters with no or little currents. (I sail out of Toronto)
What is the general feeling for powering in ICW conditions? Will the 5HP be adequate - motor is less than a year old.
Your experiences would be appreciated.
