Mounting Bruce Anchor

Post by George Shaunfield »

The only practical way I know is on a bow roller. My CD26 has a bow roller built in to the stemhead. On a 25 you could add one made by Windline. They make several models to choose from.

16lb Bruce style anchors will sit nicely in the shallow notch of the stemhead on a CD25. I held mine in place with a shackle on the base of the pulpit, and a short line over to the port side of the stemhead. It worked great.
