Has anyone had to replace rocker arms on the above engines because the rocker arm movable tip has collapsed into the rocker arm resulting in excessive valve clearance? MD2010 serial #'s prior to 5101202984, MD2020 serial #'s prior to 5101308898, and MD2030 serial #'s prior to 5101465653 apparently affected. Newly designed rocker arms are available and valve clearance has also been changed. My MD2030 (serial # 5101459034 was discovered to have excessive valve clearance of .035" at 517 engine hrs. but the rocker arm deterioration was not discovered until 984 engine hrs. Examination of the old rockers show evidence of contact/wear where the spring washers contacted the bottom of the rocker arm.
