I would like to find a mooring site or an inexpensive slip for my new CD-25 somewhere on one of the numerous creeks off the lower Neuse River in North Carolina. I'm not quite ready to commit to a particular marina for slip rental. I'd just like to get a used to the area before signing a one year contract. I'm figuring that I'll be needing temporary facilities until next June or so.
One option is to just go to one of the many area marinas and rent a slip on a month to month basis but that is expensive.
Do any any NC sailors have a suggestions?
