For a long time now I have been wanting to acquire a teak grate for my Typhoon's cockpit floor. I had seen a Typhoon in Stuart Florida that had such a floor and it looked very sharp. Does anybody have suggesstions as to how to build this floor? I'm also wondering if there is a place to aquire premade sections of teak cockpit floor which could then be cut to fit my floor? Any response would be greatly appreciated.
thanks and watch out for that boom,

Re: teak grates for Typhoon cockpit floor.
Nick,
West Marine sells precut teak all set to fit together into a grate. Just cut to size and add border pieces.
I have one on my 28... made from precut stuff and screwed together from the underside.
