I moved your post to "About this Board" so that this discussion wouldn't confuse the announcement you replied to.
I take it you registered and logged in, but are not seeing yourself logged in?
If you are logged in, on the line at the top with the little flags you will see "Log out" and your user name. Otherwise you will see "Log in".
If you see "Log in", click it and log in with your username and password. Tell me what you get then, and we'll go from there.
