The seats on our Typhoon Daysailer (hull #9) are mahogony and appear to be of the original design. However, the sales brochure from the 1970's states that the seats are teak.
Was this an option on the new boat at the time, or does this suggest that somebody custom built them for the boat?
Does anyone else have mahogony where there was or should have been teak?
Regardless, they are gorgeous and make the cockpit look like a furniture gallery...
