I am very interested in finding a cape dory 45 just to look at and take a few photos for my personal files. Just a cape dory lover! Does any one know where I can get any color brochures (original or copies) of cd 33,40&45? Thanks alot.

my understanding is that only 3 45's were made and that all are up in maine. you can try to do a search of the message board for details.

Only 3 of the CD45 were produced from 1982-1983. They were available in either a cutter or ketch rig. I do not know how the three that were built were fitted. I fould Dave Perry of Robinhood Marine and Fred Parker at Commonwealth Yacht Sales in Glouchester Point Virginia (former dir. of sales at Robinhood) to be fantastic resources of CD information. They were both very helpful in my search for CD information.
