And to stir up the South,
Those who haul their boats for the winter, and those who dont.
Snowbirds dont count on this one, as they splash for the winter.

Those who wish they didn't have to travel so much
so they could have more evenings and weekends to finish up the refit (moi) vs. those who have all the time they need and aren't doing a refit anyway.

Castleton Boat Club
I don't mean to sabotage or scuttle the thread, just trying to be in agreement with what was posted.
As Duncan said, Castleton Boat Club is a friendly little place to raise and lower your mast(s). It is a short sail downriver from Albany, NY. It is located on the east side of the Hudson River, just north and in view of the bridge of the Berkshire Extension of the NY throughway.
It isn't a fancy yacht club or a boatyard. You have to operate the gin pole yourself. There are free showers. If I remember correctly a laundromat. groceries and ice are about two blocks away. Rit, Ed, help me out on this.
A lot of the boaters and locals stop here to wet their whistle. It's just a good friendly, helpfup place to drop in, whether going up or down stream.

OJ, there are six pages of this vs. that in this thread and you're just trying to be in agreement?

Those who spent the weekend painting
the anchor rode storage areas, vs. those who were lucky enough to be in Clear Lake.
