Don't waste your money. Dollar Depot stores carry a brand of brushes made in Mongolia. They are made of brown yak hair. They do shed their bristols rather vigorously but what the hey, these coarse brushes are great in making the finished surface non skid and are barely visible at five feet or more.

Make sure that you brush with the grain. You should be able to finish the project with six or less brushes if you don't bear down too much.

Polar vortex? What are you talking about :?: Duh.

That's what I said, but I think if you shed bristles across the grain, you might get a pleasant plaid effect.

I've never actually attempted one of those "pleasant plaid effects" I just end up with one regardless.

I have had good results with Cetol using Jen Poly foam brushes.

I'm on a tundra trip and thought "Spring" and it worked. The polar vortex went back to the polar. I'm in Shorewood, IL and it's going to be warm enough to go outside today.

Tundra trip = fly to AK - buy Truck (F250 Diesel). Drive thru MO, IL - visit family. Returning to VA thru IN, OH, WV. Fun road trip.
