I have received approximatly 20 replies to my previous posting and thought it worth posting again.

I have recently established a group account at Boat/US for “New England Cape Dory Owners Association”. Realizing that an “Official” organization does not exist I took creative license while establishing the name. This group account will entitle fellow CD owners in the New England area (New Jersey to Maine) to 50% off their annual Boat/US membership fee of $17.00 ($8.50 for group members). Group members will also be entitled to attend periodic “cooperative groups sale nights” at the regional retail outlets, plus receipt of discount mailing for catalog orders.

To receive your group ID membership number I need to establish a “membership” list which I will forward to Boat/US. Please forward me an e-mail with the following information:

Name
Street Address
Vessel Type (power or sail)
Make - Cape Dory
Model
Vessel Name
Home Port

Upon receipt of your information I will respond with your group ID number which you will need to reference when renewing membership or applying for membership.

I am already a member. Is it possible to transfer my number under the Cape Dory group?

Don - I will send you an e-mail with the details, but offer the following for everyone else as well.

The "group ID" can be used by new members or by current members at renewal time. All you need to do is advise them of your ID and receive the 50% membership discount.

FYI - The only negative is that I receive (as group administrator) a copy of each flyer they produce for each registered group member.
