I believe they were made by Handy Boat Service in Falmouth, Maine. They were about 14feet long. I have seen them occasionally advertised in Soundings. Perhaps one of the traditional catboat yards on Cape Cod might have a lead on one. (Crosby, etc.)D Mannion wrote: Would like to purchase HandyCat. The Handy Cat that we rescued from Charlotte Harbor, Florida, was made by Cape Dory Co.Inc.,West Bridgewater, Mass. and was a 14' boat with wooden mast. It was about 25 years old, perhaps 1974 model. Has anyone ever heard of this boat? The hull number was 161. Too bad the owner wouldn't sell, it's a beauty.
