Hello,,,,,,,I am just wondering if the molds are still in existance. I saw somewhere they were doomed to be destroyed. I have been given a Hurricane Floyd and several later hurricanes damaged Typhoon .......This boat is hurting bad........I am a builder.
How do I post photos? I have several shots of boat including a trailer build. Thank you for any information. www.prossyachts.com

Thank you Cathy. You just solved a HUGE issue I also have with my own website and it's limited use template. I will use the links to post slide shows of work to my own site as well.
Working many hours makes for limited time to build the site. But the challenge is fun......... The condition of the poor Weekender is certainly going to be a challenge.
I good friend lost his wife during his attempts to repair the boat and his tears kept this boat from the scrap pile. It is far beyond reasonable repair(as in no reasoning sole would even attempt this.)
I am going to repair to new condition at great cost in labor to me but for personal reasons. I dont intend to sail the boat as I have obligations to another (note user name) boat. And when complete I do intend to sell the boat with custom trailer at a very very fair price to a loving owner.
I have noticed Cape Dory owners love their boats like no other group of owners (Ohlson crowd exclude .) The boat has a HIN # and a past, the deck and cockpit are in such great condition this must be done. I believe this boat was a newleywed couple's honeymoon ride from Virginia Beach to Rebecca Shoals in the 70's.(ALL OUTSIDE) Brave Brave souls.........
I dont want to build a new hull from the mold. I want as much of this boat to remain as possible. Splashing sections from the mold would save many many hours and make the repair more affordable.
I have a method for fast ultra shiny regelcoat finishing that matches and surpasses Urethane shine......
Thank You again for th quick response.
I will post photos soon.........interested owners speak up now hehe.
