when i needed new curtains I called robinhood and they directed me to East Coast Embrodery sp.? This company is owned by the brother
of the owner of Cape Dory Yachts They provided the original curtains
and had them in stock when I called. They did not incl the cape dory hull embriodery I took those of the old curtains and added them to the new curtains..

Any cd 30 c with universal 14hp engines out there???
Mines a 1984 hull 316

I also have a 1984 CD30 w/ Universal 14hp (hull #321). Have you had any experience replacing the wet exhaust on this boat? Would you know where I might find a replacement muffler? None of the usual marine stores seem to have this item. Thanks for any help.

We own hull #271 built in '83. I did an exhaust conversion on the
boat a couple of months ago. I junked the old stainless custom
fabricated unit. See my message regarding exhaust problem further
down the message list for conversion details. The message date was around 9/5. If you want extra details e-mail me. I check it daily. The system turned out far better than original factory. You could use BLACK iron rather than bronze, it may even last longer than the bronze, either way when it comes time to repair again......easy enough, readily availabe parts. ( do not use any red brass or low grade bronze ).
