For some reason, the number of posts a member makes is not being counted any more. Mine has been stuck at 50 for some time, and I notice Oswego John's is stuck at 836 or so.
Has the microchip that counts the number of posts got the long Christmas weekend off?

When did you register with the board?
John,
The board counts posts for registered users only. So any posts you made as an unregistered user won't get counted.
Prior to this summer, unregistered users could post. During this summer, we had some serious problems with spammers so we restricted posts to registered users only.
Your registration info says that you registered with the board on August 27, 2006... so anything you posted after that will get counted.
Let me know if this makes sense or if I need to do some more investigating...

Bob I understand about having to be registered. I am registered.
When I wrote, I could see two or three different threads, with different messages of mine. Each and every one said I had posted 50 times.
There were different messages from Oswego John, also, and his number was the same in each separate message.
Since then, the problem seems to have resolved itself somehow.
It's of little consequence, and I wouldn't go to any trouble over it if I were you.
