i am planning a trip to bermuda and would like to leave the boat (cd26) there for six months or so. i have thought of either anchoring out (not a great idea as the boat will be unattended) or getting a mooring. alternatives would be to take a slip or even have her hauled (safest, but i assume most expensive) for the winter. i have talked to one place there that quoted $12/ft to haul and $12/ft per month for dry storage. any suggestions or advice, particularly local connections or yards known to be good would be appreciated.
thanks

What is it that you really want to do? If you wish mooring her for a short period I have a mooring at the eastern end of the island that you can use for a small fee. Perhaps if you don't need to have the boat serviced this is your safest and cheapest alternative.: i am planning a trip to bermuda and would like to leave the boat (cd26) there for six months or so. i have thought of either anchoring out (not a great idea as the boat will be unattended) or getting a mooring. alternatives would be to take a slip or even have her hauled (safest, but i assume most expensive) for the winter. i have talked to one place there that quoted $12/ft to haul and $12/ft per month for dry storage. any suggestions or advice, particularly local connections or yards known to be good would be appreciated.
