Would anyone be able to describe for me the construction of the keel for a 1974 Typhoon Wkndr? I have found what appears to be delamination at the base of the keel where it meets the rudder. There is what appears to be a section of bronze in place. Why would any one use fiberglass over that? Thank You.
Also, if anyone can provide the scantlings for the 1974 Typhoon Wkndr,or direct me to a source, I'd be very grateful.

Jerry,
The bronze is the lower support for the rudder, I can not recall right now what correct ID term is but I do know what the purpose of the bronze is. I can copy a drawing from the CD manual to show this if you like. I short I don't think this is a problem.
