Well I guess the subject line says it all. My father picked this boat up about 20 to 25 years ago. It has been stored in the garage ever since. I want to clean it up, new varnish and paint and set sail. Does anyone have a good guess at the age? I would also like to determine the correct color for the inside of the hull. The most recent coat of paint is a battleship gray, the under coat is a baby teal blue. Thanks in advance for any and all info.

CD 10...Yacht Tender
The boat that started CD. Late 60's? Kinda like Apple computer..started building them in the garage behind the house. I had one for 10 years. What it makes me think of is.....Toy Boat....Toy Boat....Toy Boat.....It has the rich mahogony and the sheerline and the transom of the larger dorys and some of the motion. It has a heavy feel to it for a 10 footer. the balance is excellent except for upwind performance which is dismaland it rolls downwind. I had a pair of 8 foot spoon oars and frankly I enjoyed rowing the boat better than sailing it.The advertised weight of the hull is 150 pounds but I think that is fabricated. If you could weigh yours.....I'll bet well over 200 pounds. More of a boat that I would throw 2 kids in to learn how to sail. Anyway...I do miss that boat and the original interior color was that torquise blue. I couldnt stand it though..too boston Whaler like. I painted my interior gloss white and stained the mahogony cherry and applied spar varnish. Hard to beat that glistening yacht like look.
