28 Sport Fisherman

I am a new owner of a CD 28ft Sport Fisherman that has a 275HP Chrysler gasoline engine. What is the recommended RPM for cruising? What is the maximum RPM before something breaks? Thanks

My open fisherman is equipped as yours is with a 275 Chrysler I use two cruising speeds,low at 2000 -- 2200 rpm ( fuel economy ), high at3000 --3200 ( on plane ).Max rpm 4200--4500 with my prop and load.I dont know the destruct rpm.
