Well Osprey's new rudder should be shipped from Nausett Marine by the end of the week. Now comes the installation. Was curious to hear experiences from other CD owners on this process. It looks like we'll need to take off the metal "shoe" piece attached to the keel, slide up the new post and re-attach and glass in the shoe. Any thoughts from anyone? Thanks.

Jamie,
sounds like you have the right idea. You may have to dig a hole below your rudder if your boat isn't high enough off the ground.I did to get the rudder off /on my 30'er.Make sure to peen the shoe pins on both sides before reglassing. Nauset Marine is right up the road from me. $$.
