Hi everyone,
Thanks for all the good wishes.
Today my office goes into storage so this will be my last post until possibly Panama.
I want to make a report after the passage of the canal so I can let you know of my experience.
I expect to depart about May 8th. I figure two weeks to Panama. Reports are that it usually takes about two weeks to arrange the passage, so some time in the first half of June I should be able to make an update.
Happy sails to everyone and have a great summer cruising season,
Fred

Thanks to all
You should always have an odd number of holes in your boat!
What great news.
Have the greatest of adventures.
I hope to follow you soon.

Fred,
Thanks for the opportunity to sail with you. I appreciate the bit of wisdom that you shared with me about dealing with tough situations when they arise. I applaud your ingenuity and skill in modifying and recommissioning FeNIX. She is certainly a sound vessel. May you find joy and peace in your travels.
I, too, look forward to reports as you have the chance to post them.
Best regards,
George

The Artist is not born to a life of pleasure.
He must not live idle;
he has hard work to perform,
and one which often proves a cross to be borne.
He must realize that his every deed, feeling, and thought
are raw but sure material from which his work is to arise,
That he is free in Art but not in life.
