Looking for advice, did a search and did not come up with any ideas.
It seems that the time between when the boat yard hauled my CD30 and today, two of my port side life line stanchions are bend in a bit.
Is there a process for bending them back into shape that anyone can share with me?
Probable need to go about 1/2 inch or less back toward the outside hull. It looks like some pressure was asserted and bent them toward the deck and cabin.
Thanks

I had one stanchion straighted by a world-class sculptor; I don't think he has any rolling gear, so it might have been with careful heating and bending. When I got it back, I filled the stanchion with structural epoxy and glass. It is very solid.
