Leaks 1975 25'

I have a 1975 cape dory and it seems to leak like a sive every time i wash it seems to take on as much water inside as it soes outside, the windows and hatches seem to be the worst any sugests on how to clean her without mopping up a ton of water afterwards?

i'm having the same experience with my '77 twenty-five footer. one day while i was moaning about it, the admiral handed me a phillips head screwdriver and the caulk gun. so, on days i dare not head out, i'm rebeding the ports - particularly the one over the admiral's berth.
