Re: replacement sails for weekender
I had a typhoon until just recently and had the sails replace by a sailmaker in Houston Tx. The jib was very economical at around $200 for a 6 oz. dacron and the main was a bit more it was also 6 oz. dacron. The Jib was made by C&C sailmakers and the main was made by Cameron Sails. Both have made many typhoon sails and know the boats well. If you need their phone numbers let me know.

Re: replacement sails for weekender
Mark,
I built a main for our typhoon from a Sailrite plan and kit. It fits the boat well and for $400 and about 20 to 30 hours of work (I'm slow too!) it does just fine. The sail looks good and she sails along with very little weather helm. Try them on the web at sailrite.com.
