CD10 mooring cover

Post by treilley »

Does anyone know if there is a CD10 mooring cover available anywhere? I would like to keep my boat at the dinghy dock this year but also protect it and keep it dry. I have seen some tent style covers on other dinghys that are suspended by 2 vertical rods.

If not, I will make my own.

Thanks

You can probably get the bronze fittings and the fiberglass wands from Dyer. Although used in the Dyer dinghies, the bronze would work with the CD 10. For the cover you may need to go to a canvas and sail shop. I'd be surprised if they didn't have it. If not try Bristol Bronze or Spartan Marine.

Here's the Dyer part list: http://www.dyerboats.com/DD_Parts_Price_List2004.pdf
