please help ! Impeller size for water pump MD7A/B

Hi,

I am looking for an impeller for a CD 28 which has either a volvo
MD7A or MD7B engine. This is for the water pump. The factory part
is too expensive. Does anyone know any other source for an impeller ?

I've heard that NAPA has these.
I don't have the part number, though.
I'm sure a more knowledgable CD owner will soon come to the rescue.

Archie,

Defender and West Marine do carry this impellor. It is the smallest one they carry too. I remember that the number is a 4 digit one..2011 or something close to that. Try checking the catalog, and if you still have trouble, I will grab the catalog tonight and send you the exact number. They run around $13 each by the way. These are the Nitrile compound impellors, which can run dry for a 20 min. period if need be.

Volvo # 875583-7
Johnson Pump # 09-808B
Globe # 1112 (I Think, may be 421, not positive on this one)
Thermostat
NAPA #18-3665 (its a better unit than the Volvo one)
