We are new owners of a 1977 25' CD. Can anyone give me info. on adding a stern rail? For safety we would also like to extend the lifelines the full length of the boat. Thanks.

Should not be a problem. We removed ours (75 CD25) for repair and rebedding during the rebuild. One of the suppliers noted on this website should be able to make one up. Only thing to note is that the bolts which fasten the stantions, at the stern, are VERY close to the transom. The transom slopes in and this makes it very easy to drill thru accidently when you are drilling the vertical holes close to the edge if you are not careful.Kay Hess wrote: We are new owners of a 1977 25' CD.
