Noting that the specs page, http://www.toolworks.com/capedory/ccdoinfo.htm#specs, does not list the CD26, and receiving at least one quizzical response to my recent post "CD26 For Sale (New Jersey)", here are the critical numbers, from our copy
of a brochure copyrighted 1985, Cape Dory Yachts, Inc.:

Displacement 5,300 lbs.
Ballast 2,400 lbs.
