I'm looking for a source for parts for a Whale Gusher 8 MKIII manual bilge pump. It looks like original equipment, and the inlet and outlet fittings, both plastic, need to be replaced (the outlet just broke!). If anyone can recommend a spare parts source, or for that matter, a replacement source, I'd appreciate the information.
thanks

Re: CD25 Whale bilge pump parts
I rebuilt my Whale Gusher 10 a few months ago with a kit I bought from West Marine. Check them out. My guess would be that they would have it or could get it if you gave them a call.

trying too hard
It turns out the Whale Gusher 8 hasn't been manufactured for 10 years, and there are no spare parts available (I was looking for the plastic inlet and outlet fittings, the West Marine "repair" kit is gaskets only).
The Gusher Urchin "underdeck" part number BP9013 is a direct replacement, fits the existing hole in the port side of the cockpit, and was reasonably priced at $65.

Whale Gusher 8 spare parts
Called West Marine a couple days ago and their service dept. told me that I'd have to special order directly from the company (my Whale 8 is shot too) - they gave me a telephone # of 1-888-888-3221 and said the item # was SK8813.Steve Hinote wrote: It turns out the Whale Gusher 8 hasn't been manufactured for 10 years, and there are no spare parts available (I was looking for the plastic inlet and outlet fittings, the West Marine "repair" kit is gaskets only).
For what it's worth.
