CD25 cockpit floor cut out
getting to the bilge is hell on water, ( unless you have a 6 foot arm of an octopus ) Has anyone cut to bilge through cockpit floor and used a good screw down seal to have a water proof assessable bilge

Curious...
Just curious as to why you would want to do this.
For cleaning, I used a plumbers friend with a lot of cleaning rags. It even managed to get around the Whale pump. Afterwards, I installed the largest Rule automatic bilge pump beneath and a little aft of the cabin inspection sole board.
Personally, I wouldn't put any more holes in a boat than I had to.
Thanks
