Volvo MD7A Parts lists with diagrams and any work books.
As owner of CD 30 with 1982 Volvo MD7A engine, would like to know where to obtain any diagramed parts lists etc., as well as workbooks re: this engine. Also, where to purchase Volvo green engine paint. Thanks in advance for any help!

Try the boatdiesel site
There is an excellent forum for boat diesels.....www.boatdiesel.com. You should be able to get a diagram and other information from the volvo section. I have the diagram for the md2b which includes info for your engine as well if you need it.

The factory workshop manual can be found on the CDSOA website. As you will see, it is VERY basic.
Any Volvo diesel dealer will have its own copy of the illustrated parts manual. I do not know of a public source.
"Volvo green" paint is available in rattle cans under the Tempo brand. Any good chandlery either will have it or can get it.

Check out Orr's Island
they are a rep for Volvo.
Very good to work with, and very knowledgable.

If you don't get all you want there let me know. I might have a couple of things Aloha doesn't have

No need to leave this site, they are here...
You are, right now as you are reading this, on the CDSOA's web site. We host the Cape Dory message board.
Anyway, there's no need to leave this site. Just continue exploring it. Scroll up to the top of any page of the message board and click on the CDSOA logo or the CDSOA link to return to our home page at www.capedory.org. Then use the main menu (located on the left side of the page) to navigate to the manuals. Use the following path via the menus.
Where to Look => Online Manuals & Brochures => Engine/Transmission Manuals
or just go to http://www.capedory.org/cdsoalook.html#enginemanuals.
Once there, just download the one(s) that you want.
Thanks,
Cathy
