Inner forestay for CD 33

Does anyone have any information or suggestions for adding an inner forestay to a 1982 CD 33 sloop rig?

Also, any recommendations for wind vane steering on the CD 33? We saw a Hydrovane system on a similar boat, and the owner was very satisfied.

I'm sure he'll see this and reply, but Leo McDonald (Evening Light CD33) is researching both of these issues and posted relevant comments in the past several weeks on this board. Try the search function and I'm sure you'll find those posts.
