What a beautiful boat.
In the bleak midwinter Frosty wind made moan, Earth stood hard as iron, Water like a stone; Snow had fallen, snow on snow, Snow on snow, In the bleak midwinter, Long ago.

A CD26 Caught Out of the Water
Dana,
She looks peaceful enough right now, but in a few months I'll bet she will be yearning to get back to her real home - in the water and free from her slip or mooring. You have a beautiful boat. She looks new! I am sure you have expended a lot of TCL to maintain her so well. Your web site strongly influenced by buying a 26 two years ago instead of a 25 or 27.
I have CD26 hull #4. When Hurricane Rita approached a couple of weeks ago I took Wings of the Morning out of her slip and anchored her in the bayou. When I returned home in the afternoon of the day Rita made landfall (East of us) I saw a lot of her bottom for a day. Instead of a surge tide, Rita actually sucked water out of Galveston Bay and moved it to her "dirty" side.
Thanks for posting the picture.
George
