ty trailor
where is the boat now. my trailor is hamilton, ma. till first or second week in october. it is a wooden cradle sitting on a large steel trailer.
not ideal, but for a short haul it would work. i only travel 8-10 miles to launch and haul and it does fine. would not put it on the highway.
what will you do with it when it gets to M-head...

How about a spare Ty cradle???
I have spoken to several haulers in the area who won't consider moving this Ty until November at the earliest. $400 for 67 miles. I haven't had any luck with a trailer -- anyone have a Ty cradle for sale or very short term loan? Eastern Mass or Providence Area
Thanks,
Bly

YIKES!!! It's almost worth selling the one there and buying a different one here. (Where is "there"?)bhartley wrote:$400 for 67 miles.
Is it possible to sail the Ty to Marblehead?

Darn the Cape Cod Canal...
The 2 hp outboard wouldn't do us any good if they let us try!

Ty trailer
Is it in the water or on stands now? Will you be dropping it in the water or putting it on stands at its final destination?
Aloha,

With the current, why not? Any chance of borrowing an outboard instead of a trailor?bhartley wrote:The 2 hp outboard wouldn't do us any good if they let us try!

On stands now...
I'd be happy to just get her in the driveway at this point!
