Correct tire pressure for a CD25 trailer? 2d request

Post by Tom Foley »

I recently purchased a CD25 with trailer. The tires are very cracked and low on air. I have replaced the tires. Can anyone tell me the correct tire pressure? Should I repack the bearings also?
thanks
Tom

The correct tire pressure will be written on the sidewall just after the maximum load. If the actual load will not be near the maximum, then the pressures can be a little less. You should repack the bearings, and put "Bearing Buddies" (grease zerks in the bearing caps) on them if you plan to trailer launch the boat. I carry spare bearings, but I trailer quite a bit.
