Tlhis is a great boat!!

Having sailed along side Dolce many times during the last 5 years. I can attest to just how nice this particular CD33 really is. Dot and Larry Mace have spared no expense on upgrading this boat. Being accomplished sailors they have spent much time, energy (and $$) insuring that the sailing is easy and efficient. And with all the upgrades below decks, it is a very warm and comfortable place to be.

This is truly a "turnkey" boat.

Pat
p.s. Congrats L&D on the new boat - can't wait to see it!

model included

I noticed that you had Todd Dunn build a detailed half hull model of her. Is that included with the boat?
Both are gorgeous

re half model

Post by Larry M »

Randy,
Hard enough to part with the real boat so I think I will need the model to remind of her. This has been a very tough decision for us as we where not really looking for another boat but this one was way too special to pass up. Kind of how we found the cape dory also.

I don't blame you one bit for wanting to keep the model. It was seeing your model on Todd's web page that motivated me to have a model of Seraph built.
Your new vessel is gorgeous

Todd Dunn's models

Post by Larry M »

Hi Randy,
Todd sure does good work. You must of really challaged him to work "backwards"! Nice model.
Not sure if I will have Todd do one of the new boat. Bruce Farr designs are more about function than the "form and function" look of a cape dory.
