Now is the time! After years of admiring the idea of such a complete vessel in such a small package, we'reshopping. Can anyone advise if there are some on themarket (West Coast preferred), the general price range, whether they sail - and age - as well as they look, andany other helpful information? Much obliged for yourcollective informed opinions. Dean

Check the Soundings classified ads. You can usually find a number of CD's listed there, and you can also view/search the ads from the web at http://www.soundingspub.com
Good luck!

Dean, I can't find his card, but you should checkwith Mike Fahey. You'll find him mentioned inthe California Cape Dory Owner's Association pagemanaged by Walt Bilofsky. Mike works for a yacht brokerage firm here in the Bay Area andreally watches the Cape Dory scene very carefully. He's an owner also!
I'd also not discount any CD30 cutters you maycome across, they often are later year boats andmay include many enhancements made by Cape Doryover the production life of the CD30.

A member of the Lake Michigan CDOA had a 30 Ketch
for sale. Don't know the price or if it is still
on the market. No email address, but snail mail:

I'd love any info you would care to send my way as I'm considering buying a CD30 Ketch this spring.
