I just purchased a 28' Pearson Triton, considered by many a cousin of the Alberg CD's. It has no lifelines and I was wondering if anyone knows of any sources for new or preferably used stanchions, etc. I understand CD's and early Pearsons used much of the same hardware. Also, if anyone has any installation advice, I'd appreciate it.

You might want to look at the " where to buy stuff " section on this

I'd also do a search for Triton on a search engine or two.
There is a fairly active group of Triton owners. If there's a
board somewhere, you've probably got your answer. Or try the
rec.boats, or rec.sail ( whatever ) hierarchy on USENET. Or do a search for "Triton + Stanchion" on DejaNews.
