My CD28 power, one of the earlier models, came w/o a fuel gauge. I have a well calibrated stick and perhaps ought to let well enough alone. But it would be handy to have a fuel gauge, and I can see no way to fit one in w/o removing the tank which is snugly fitted in and cutting a hole in it in order to stick the sensor in. I would welcome any simpler suggestions.

Can I put a fuel gauge in my CD 28 power?

Bill,
I have hull # 193 and mine came with gravity meters in both the port and starboard tanks. I replaced both, putting a sender in each tank and corresponding gauge in the console by the wheel. Getting to the port tank was a problem. The starboard tank was easy. However the baffles in both tanks seem to be a problem and I am now sure that the readings I am getting are valid. I expect to reposition the senders so the floats are free of the baffles. I would think the simplest thing for you to do is install a gravity meter.
