Bent Boom

Has anyone had success straightening a boom ? My one has a bent halfway along about 4 degrees not a lot but enough to affect the set of the sail

Hi Tony.
i met a man years ago that bent his mast and he bent it back between two trees and it work.
but with his boom he took a torch to it just a little heat and straight his boom.
maybe it would work, fine.

Tony, I have the same problem and I plan to take it to a good machine shop to see if they can press it out. I'll let you know, Paul.
